SLP Torque Converter, Lock Up

1993-94 Camaro/Firebird SLP offers High Performance, Lock-Up Torque Converters for the 700-R4/4L60E Automatic Transmissions. These Torque Converters are designed to improve Low Speed (Bottom End) Performance while still retaining the Lock-Up features of the Stock Converter. 0-60 and 1/4 mile performance times are reduced as much as 2 to 3 tenths by raising the Stall Speed approximately 800 RPM over the Stock Converter. Driveability is actually improved with little or no effect on fuel economy. Our Converters feature Fully Brazed Pump Fins, High Capacity Torrington Thrust Bearings and all the same lock-up features of the stock torque converters and are fully balanced assemblies. They are completely compatible with the TPI Computer in your car and require no modifications for installation.

Available in a wide range of stall speeds. Designed for the street and capable of adapting to all late model lock-up vehicles. Each 9 1/2" converter is made specifically for your application. The result will be lower 60 ft. times and up to a 5 tenth improvement in your 1/4 times (depends on the car and available traction). This is one of the best mods that you can do to an automatic f-body!
