To help ease the pain of installing a new set of gears in your 1982-2001 10-bolt differential, SLP has just released an installation kit that includes new pinion bearings, carrier bearings, crush collar, gasket and silicone sealant, everything needed for bolting in a new gear set. You can also use this kit if you're just looking to rebuild the rear in your car or truck. This 7.5"/7.625" series differential can be found under many GM cars and trucks.

Always looking to make life easier for the performance-oriented 1982-01 Camaro or Firebird and S-Truck owner, SLP has just put together a new differential package that not only improves performance, but also makes your life easier with one-stop shopping. SLP's new package includes your choice of either a 3.42, 3.73 or 4.10 OEM gear set, Torsen 3-series carrier, AAM extra-cooling aluminum differential cover and an easy-to-install electronic processor to help re-calibrate your vehicle's speedometer. This package will allow you to upgrade your car's 7.5"/7.625" 10-bolt differential and improve its performance by as much as half a second in the quarter mile without the hassle of improper speedometer readings or codes from your cars ECU. Each of the items listed in the package are available individually. Also now available, Reluctor Ring to retain the ABS function of your vehicle.

SLP Cover, Differential AAM Cast Aluminum

SLP has just released a new aluminum differential cover that not only improves the durability and appearance of the differential, but makes basic maintenance a snap, too. Produced by American Axle Manufacturing (AAM) exclusively for SLP, this new cover is constructed from aircraft-quality cast aluminum and designed to strengthen the differential housing by forming a firm back-bone for the rear end. It also includes cooling ports that are designed to keep the differential fluid approximately 80 deg. cooler, increasing the differentials durability and reliability immensely. The cover is also designed to aid in basic maintenance, as it includes a drain plug that allows you to remove used gear oil from the differential without having to un-bolt the cover. Minor modifications are necessary to improve fluid circulation to the carrier and gain the full benefits of the cover. All hardware and installation instructions are included.

This cover is designed to fit GM vehicles equipped with either a 7.5" or 7.625" differential. Call for applications.
